Chelsea U18 coach Jody Morris was pleased with their 4-2 win over Arsenal.
Martell Taylor-Crossdale bagged a hat-trick to continue his prolific goalscoring start to the season, while Harvey St Clair also chipped in with another goal on the way to a 4-2 win at Cobham.
"You want a game to come round as quickly as possible after a performance like last week and the fact it was against Arsenal added an extra little bit of spice," Morris told the official Chelsea website.
"They are top of the league and have started the season well but we weren't too despondent coming into the game. We addressed some of the things that went wrong at Norwich but we also reflected on the fact we've lost two games that we should have won.
"The lads started really well and the really pleasing thing for me was the way they followed the game plan off the ball. I felt we were hard to beat and won plenty of balls high up when we pressed them. We looked at some slightly different ways to attack them, hitting the frontman from our goal-kicks to see if we could use Martell's physicality and managed to score from that so those things were pleasing."
