Roma fullback Emerson Palmeiri has popped up on Chelsea's radar.

The Brazilian is viewed by Chelsea, says Sky Italia, as a cheaper alternative to Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.

Emerson has been linked with a move away this month, including a return to Porto.

Roma are willing to cash in thanks to Aleksandar Kolarov's arrival this season and establishing himself as Roma's first-choice left-back.

Chelsea are keen to bring Emerson to London as cover for Marcos Alonso.
