Chelsea turn to Oblak, Trapp as they seek Courtois replacement

Chelsea are anxiously are seeking a replacement for wantaway goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

The Daily Star says they are now turning focus to Atletico Madrid's Oblak and Paris St-Germain star Kevin Trapp.

Oblak is rated as one of Europe's top goalkeepers and won't come cheap.

Landing Trapp could be easier for Chelsea.

Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon has pitched up at the French club after leaving Juventus and will be their new No.1, leaving Trapp and Alphonse Areola battling for the backup position.

And PSG might sanction an exit for German ace Trapp in order to free up funds for business elsewhere.

Chelsea are ready to sell No.1 Courtois to Real Madrid this summer - but won't sanction his exit until a replacement is on board.
