Chelsea are watching VfL Bochum defender Erdinc Karakas.

The Germany U19 international centre-half has been scouted by Chelsea in recent weeks.

Reviersport says along with Blues scouts, representatives from Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have also made checks on the 17 year-old.

The player's agent, Güven Tükenmez, commented: "There are some clubs that would like to have Erdinc in their ranks.

"The first point of contact is not us, but VfL Bochum. In a few weeks we should know how it will go."
