Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is chasing Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.
Ancelotti sees Subotic as a long-term defensive partner for David Luiz.
The Italian is keen to sign Serbian star Subotic to eventually partner Luiz - who can also operate in midfield - at Chelsea, although Dortmund are eager to hold on to him.
Subotic, 22, is one of the most highly-rated defenders in Europe and Ancelotti has been keen on him ever since he arrived at Stamford Bridge.
