Chelsea have been alerted to reports of Roma's contract talks with Kostas Manolas collapsing.

The London Evening Standard says Manolas is back in their sights due to Roma's failure to agree terms over an extension.

The Greece international, whose current deal expires in 2019, is one of the club's lowest paid players on less than £40,000-a-week.

He wants a pay-rise to take him to around £50,000-a-week, but Roma are prepared to offer a maximum of only £41,000-a-week.
