Chelsea are ready to move for Brighton goalkeeper David Stockdale.

The Daily Star says Chelsea can land the 31-year-old this summer without a fee as his contract runs out at the Seagulls, who have won promotion to the Premier League.

Stockdale's potential arrival as back-up to Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge, would allow Begovic to join Bournemouth.

The Premier League leaders inquired about the former Fulham keeper in January when Begovic was looking to leave to find regular football elsewhere.
