Chelsea are likely to be without Serbian defender Branislav Ivanovic for the start of the new season.
The 32-year-old suffered a dislocated shoulder during the friendly win over Austrian club RZ Pellets WAC last Wednesday.
Ivanovic is now expected to spend at least three weeks on the sidelines which effectively rules him out for the season-opener against West Ham United on August 15.
However, he has travelled with the team for the pre-season tour and will receive treatment for his shoulder in the USA.
