Chelsea are ready to throw all their energies into landing Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski this summer.

The Daily Express says Chelsea have dropped plans for a £46 million summer move for Atletico Madrid's Radamel Falcao and instead aim to win a three-way contest with Bayern Munich and Manchester United for Lewandowski.

Chelsea hope they can steal a march on their rivals by trading Belgian Kevin De Bruyne, on loan at Werder Bremen, as part of the Lewandowski deal.

Chelsea will complete a straight £20m cash deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Andre Schurrle.
