Chelsea teen Bertrand Traore set for African Nations Cup action

Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore will play in the African Nations Cup for Burkina Faso.

The Daily Mail says the midfielder won his first cap for his country in a friendly match in September and links up at the tournament in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon with older brother Alain, who plays for AJ Auxerre.

If Traore appears in his country's first match, against Angola on January 22, he will be the third youngest player ever to appear in the tournament, at 16 years, four months and 16 days old.

Traore could then find himself facing off against Chelsea team-mates Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou, who play for the Ivory Coast and complete the group, along with Sudan.
