Chelsea target Rijkaard keen on Premier League move

Frank Rijkaard is open to moving to England.

The Daily Star says Rijkaard and fellow Dutchman Marco van Basten are Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's top two targets as he prepares to dump Carlo Ancelotti as manager.

His agent Perry Overeem said: "He left Galatasaray in November and since then he has had the possibility of other jobs, including in the Premier League.

"It was a big club, but it wasn't the right team at the right time.

"Now Frank is ready to take another job and that may as well be in the Premier League."

Overeem added Rijkaard's lack of Premier League experience was not a handicap.

He said: "As manager of Barcelona he has played against English clubs in the Champions League. Everyone knows the Premier League. Not having working there is not that big an issue."
