AC Milan's Italy international Andrea Pirlo has confirmed he recently rejected the chance of a move to England or Spain.
Reports in England and Spain suggested Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid had all offered around £39.9million for the 29-year-old midfielder.
But the former Brescia and Inter Milan ace is happy at the San Siro and has hinted he will now see out his career with the Rossoneri.
"I feel good at Milan and I'm happy to stay," he said. "A few years ago there could have been a different situation.
"Milan could have been relegated to Serie B and there was a possibility I would have left.
"Now we're in Serie A and despite missing out on next year's Champions League we're in the middle of something special.
"I've only won one Scudetto and now I want to win another. I had offers from Spain and England.
"It's flattering to be wanted by such prestigious sides, but I'm in the world's strongest side and I have no intention of leaving."
