The Brazilian whizkid, who has been a strong target for Chelsea for some time now, is set to snub the English club by signing a deal with Jose Mourinho’s Los Blancos.
Neymar’s representative, Ernesto Bronzetti, said that there had been some speculation that the deal had already been done but even if it hasn’t yet been finalised, it soon will be.
"I was called by an Italian television station [Sport Mediaset] and they asked me,” Bronzetti told SportYou.
“I told them the only thing I knew was what I had seen on a website, that it was almost done."
The deal is believed to be worth more than £35million and will be a five-year contract but could involve a loan straight back to Santos.
