Mauro Icardi has revealed that he is set to remain with Inter Milan this summer.

The 22-year old Argentine striker, who is being linked with Premier League champions Chelsea, admits he harbours ambitions to play in the Champions League but for the time being is content in a Nerazzurri shirt.

"All players want to be in the Champions League, but I'm happy here at Inter," Icardi told his club's official website.

"I hope I can qualify for that competition next year with a great Nerazzurri side.

"In terms of my contract, I want to stay, everyone knows that. Now there just needs to be an agreement with the club. It will take time because we're still talking but I'm optimistic."

Icardi had a stunning season with Inter, sharing the Serie A Golden Boot with Chievo Verona veteran Luca Toni after scoring 22 goals.
