Chelsea target De Bruyne settles row with Genk management

Kevin de Bruyne has cleared the air with RacingGenk.

The Belgium winger was furious with his club for rejecting a £6 million offer from Chelsea this week. De Bruyne was convinced he would be joining Chelsea before last night's transfer deadline fell.

Having made clear his feelings to Genk management on Tuesday, the player, along with his agent, spent yesterday in talks with club officials about his situation.

Genk released a statement last night declaring all differences had been settled and De Bruyne was happy to play on with the Belgians this season.
