Chelsea talks ongoing for Terry

Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed that he is still in talks with the club regarding a new contract.

The 33-year old centre-back is out of contract in the summer and there were rumours circulating that a move away from Stamford Bridge may have been on the cards.

However, Terry has made it clear that he plans to see out his playing days with the Blues just as manager Jose Mourinho suggested recently.

"I think when the manager speaks about forever I agree," Terry said.

"I've been here since I was 14 and nowhere else. I want to stay here for the rest of my footballing days.

"We are still in talks which are ongoing, because of the big games recently we haven't spoken for a few weeks. But I hope it gets done as I want to stay.

"I hope things can be wrapped up by the end of the season.

"At the minute we're in talks and it's ongoing. I'm hoping it gets done. It's down to the club. They know I want to stay."
