Chelsea have tabled a new offer for Santos star Neymar.
The Sunday Telegraph says Chelsea have stepped up their efforts to sign Neymar by offering Santos around £30 million for the Brazilian prodigy, according to reports in Italy.
Roman Abramovich has made Neymar, 19, one of three key transfer targets this summer - the others being Luka Modric and Alexis Sanchez.
It was claimed in Italy that Chelsea have lodged a formal offer worth around £30m, with wages of £70,000 per-week.
Neymar, who will play for Brazil at this summer's Copa America, has said he would prefer to stay in Brazil for another season before moving to Europe.
