Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is chasing Southampton fullback Luke Shaw. The Daily Star says Chelsea have bid £21 million for the young left-back.

The offer was made BEFORE Saints were plunged into turmoil yesterday when chairman Nicola Cortese resigned.

But it is a clear sign to England left-back Ashley Cole that his days at Chelsea are numbered.

Saints told the Blues they have no intention of letting Shaw go for £15m in cash plus £6m-rated Ryan Bertrand.
