Chelsea have clinched a deal for Vitesse Arnhem midfielder Marco van Ginkel.

Dutch media sources say Vitesse and Chelsea have come to an agreement over the young Holland international. Van Ginkel was also interesting Aston Villa and Ajax.

Vitesse and Chelsea have close ties, with Tomas Kalas and Patrick van Aanholt spending last season on-loan with the Eredivisie club.

It's not been confirmed whether the Van Ginkel agreement is for an outright transfer or first refusal option. However, Vitesse will not be considering any offers from Eredivise rivals for the youngster.
