Ricardo Carvalho has become the latest player to join Chelsea's growing injury list and will have a scan on a back problem today.

The 29-year-old Portugal international came off during the first half of Chelsea's 1-1 Premier League draw with Everton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

First-choice Blues keeper Peter Cech and defenders John Terry and Paulo Ferreira are already on the sidelines.
