Chelsea superkid Ethan Ampadu is happy to have committed his international future to Wales.

His appearance against the Republic of Ireland last night ended all doubts.

Ampadu, 18 next week, said: “There was all the talk on England and everything but me for a while I have always been thinking of Wales.

“As you can probably see I enjoy playing for Wales and the fans and everything around it.

“The older players and even the staff have definitely helped me settle in.

“The older more experienced players have helped us go out and settle and express ourselves."
