Chelsea stunned at home by superior Bournemouth

Bournemouth have stunned the whole Premier League after they utterly destroyed Chelsea 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

With new signings Olivier Giroud and Emerson Palmieri, Antonio Conte's side would have been looking to put an impressive performance.

However, after a lacklustre first-half, goals from Callum Wilson, Junior Stanlislas and Nathan Ake in the space of sixteen minutes left the Chelsea crowd speechless.

Wilson put the visitors ahead after 51 minutes, exchanging passes with Jordan Ibe before sliding the ball under Thibaut Courtois.

The Englishman then turned provider three minutes after some neat interplay resulted in Stanislas nutmegging the big Belgian.

Shortly after it was three for the Cherries when former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake turned in Stanislas' shot from close range.

The loss drops Chelsea down to fourth position on the table due to goal difference.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth gain a valuable, unexpected, but deserved three points, which sees them jump into 12th on the table.
