Chelsea are battling to strike a deal for Bayer Leverkusen winger Andre Schurrle.

BILD says the German side recently admitted Schurrle has "probably" already agreed personal terms with the Blues, but they are unwilling to let go of their star player until they line up a replacement.

Although Chelsea had offered Leverkusen their youngster Kevin de Bruyne on loan, the Belgian has now claimed he is holding out for a move to Borussia Dortmund.

Champions League finalists Dortmund are keen to sign De Bruyne on a permanent deal, having already made a bid for the 21-year-old.
