Chelsea striker Fernando Torres admits he has hopes of returning to Atletico Madrid.
Torres revealed he maintains contact with the Gil family.
"There's still a lot to do, but it is an idea that I have always had. I talked to Miguel Angel Gil and I know while he is there I have the door open to me at that club (Atletico)," said Torres.
Asked if he could ever play for Real Madrid, Torres replied: "I owe a lot to Atletico, which is always my team."
