Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is delighted to be in Spain's Confederations Cup squad.
Torres enjoyed an impressive end to the season with Chelsea, with the former Liverpool striker a regular scorer as the Blues lifted the Europa League and finished third in the Premier League.
"I was not in the last two squads and you always know it's very difficult to get a place," Torres said.
"It's not easy, there are a lot of colleagues who are doing well but the end of the season was very good for my team and me. I was hoping to return, and now I'm hoping to play and train and continue doing things well."
