Chelsea striker Torres in angry clash with West Brom keeper Foster

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres and West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster clashed during last night's draw. The pair were involved in a heated altercation as tempers flared at the end of Chelsea's draw at West Brom.

The altercation was sparked when Foster went down under a challenge from a Chelsea corner in the final minute of injury time, says the Daily Mail.

It provoked a swift reaction from the former England stopper amid claims that Torres had kneed him in the back.

Although Foster's initial grievance appeared to be aimed at Chelsea defender Gary Cahill he then exchanged words with Torres before appearing to point to the tunnel and reportedly asking his Spanish opponent if he wanted to continue the row away from the pitch.

The altercation however, quickly fizzled out and Foster later laughed off the bust-up with Torres, who came on a second-half substitute, claiming it was nothing more than a 'friendly chat'.
