Chelsea striker Fernando Torres refused to get stroppy after being left on the bench for Spain's 1-1 draw with Italy.
Torres had been expected to start, but was dropped in favour of Cesc Fabregas in a 4-3-3 system without recognisable strikers.
"The important thing is for Spain to do well. We scored thanks to Cesc, so that's fine. I'm not disappointed. Now we must try to continue playing good football.
"We have to win our next two matches in the group, so we're in the same situation as the World Cup."
