Recent reports suggest that Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is toying with the idea of bringing Daniel Sturridge back to the club.
The 22-year old Chelsea attacker started his career at Eastlands before moving to Stamford Bridge in 2009 with Mirror Football reporting that City are keen on having him back.
Sturridge has slightly fallen out of favour since Roberto Di Matteo took the reins from Andre Villas-Boas in West London and it is believed that City could come in with a summer bid of around £20million.
Mancini said:
"If Sturridge was here today, he'd be in the first team. I've watched him many times and I know him well." "It was strange because Sturridge was developed in Manchester and someone let him go.
