Chelsea striker Danny Sturridge is gunning for an England call after scoring again in victory over Everton.
The young striker has bagged 14 goals in his last 20 Premier League appearances leading to suggestions he could be in line to replace the suspended Wayne Rooney in next summer's international tournament.
He said: "Everyone would love to get on the plane, I'm no different. I just want to focus on working hard for Chelsea and playing every game and hope that the England manager chooses me to go.
"I want to go to the Euros and it would be great for me to get selected but I'm not worried about the pressure being put on me because I've been working hard doing my thing at [Chelsea].
"I've not been selected for England yet so I don't think there's any pressure on myself to do anything. Hopefully in the future it does because it would be great for me, it would be a dream come true."
