Crystal Palace are on the verge of sealing the signature of Loic Remy on a season-long loan deal, according to reports from The Sun.

Remy has struggled at Chelsea since joining the club in 2014 and with the Blues spending huge money to sign Michy Batshuayi this summer, it is widely expected that the Frenchman will be leaving Stamford Bridge before the close of the transfer window.

A reunion with his former Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew at Palace had been touted for Remy recently and reports indicate that the 29-year-old is set to arrive at Selhurst Park on a season-long loan deal with the Eagles having the option of turning the transfer into a permanent one at the end of the campaign for around £12million.
