Chelsea striker Gael Kakuta feels he will accelerate his development on-loan at Bolton Wanderers.

Kakuta is in Bolton's squad for tomorrow's clash with Manchester United.

"I have to be confident and act like a man, not a child," he said. "I will go back to Chelsea with some good experience behind me.

"I could have stayed in London but moving up north will be a good thing for me. Not the weather, but in life to reach your best you have to challenge yourself.

"I could have stayed down there, had a good life and played 10 minutes every week.

"But I decided to move here and challenge myself."
