Chelsea striker Jhoao Rodriguez has cut short his loan with Bastia.

The Daily Star says the 18-year-old Colombian joined the Ligue 1 side in the summer when former Blues midfielder Claude Makelele was in charge.

However, Rodriguez has made just a handful of appearances and both clubs mutually agreed to terminate the loan.

He is set to join up with Colombia's Under-20 squad for the Sudamericano - a South American youth championship.

Rodriguez joined the Blues from Colombian side Deportivo Quindio.
