Samuel Eto'o has emerged on the radar of MLS club Toronto FC.

The Cameroonian striker is currently firing for Chelsea but that did not stop from reporting that the Canadian club are targeting him as their Designated Player for 2014.

Former Inter Milan and Barcelona star Eto'o arrived at Stamford Bridge from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala in August and after a slow start has managed to score four goals in his past seven outings for the Blues.

However, Eto'o is not the only quality attacker from Europe attracting the interest of TFC with news that Genoa and Italy striker Alberto Gilardino is also a target.
