Chelsea striker Diego Costa admits he would be interested in joining a French club at some point.

The Brazilian-born Spain international has often been linked with a return to La Liga having left Atletico Madrid to join Chelsea in 2014.

Regarding the possibility of perhaps one day playing in Ligue 1, Costa revealed that it is a prospect he would consider.

"Marseille have constructed a nice project and PSG, we know, are respected in Europe," he told Telefoot.

"Monaco also have a wonderful project and have some great players. Ligue 1 is developing.

"I am very happy at Chelsea but anything can happen in football. If I need to make a change, France is a country where I have never played.

"So why not?"
