Chelsea striker Fabio Borini has been hit by a shoulder injury.

The Daily Mail says Borini had surgery on a shoulder injury yesterday, ruling him out for two months by which point he could have signed for another club.

Borini, 19, has been frozen out by Chelsea since contract talks stalled in the summer. He has been in brilliant form for the reserves without getting a chance in the first team this term.
