Demba Ba is set to join Turkish club Besiktas from Chelsea.
The Istanbul outfit have reportedly agreed a fee with the Blues for the Senegalese striker and are on the verge of announcing the deal.
Club president Fikret Orman told NTV Spor: "Demba Ba is an excellent player, we have been in talks with Chelsea for a long time over bringing him to Istanbul.
"Talks are ongoing. Chelsea initially wanted £10million for Ba but we have negotiated a price we are happy with.
"We'll tell the media once the final deal is done."
29-year old Ba has been with Chelsea since arriving from Newcastle United in January 2013 but has scored just 14 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions. His spell with the Magpies was much more fruitful, delivering 29 goals in 58 outings.
