Senegal coach Alain Giresse has indicated he would now consider Chelsea striker Demba Ba following his recent strong showing at Stamford Bridge. "I decided not to call up players who were not performing well at their clubs, and Ba was one of them at that time," Giresse explained.
"I had to call him on phone to let him know my decision at that time. It was a difficult thing to do but when you respect a player you have to inform him in advance.
"But Ba has recovered his usual form from what we see now at Chelsea and will be welcome back to the Teranga Lions for upcoming competitions," he said.
