Nicolas Anelka is prepared to play a deeper role for Chelsea.
The striker is happy playing behind new £50 million signing Fernando Torres.
"I played like this when I was playing at Liverpool, behind Emile Heskey and Michael Owen," Anelka recalled to chelseafc.com.
"I had a good time doing it, and I played like it in Turkey at Fenerbahçe, but we used to play two behind and one striker."
