Chelsea's millionaire players were trapped in their plush mansions last week.

The People says while the rest of us mere mortals were free to come and go as we pleased on Wednesday night, several of them were trapped in their homes because the electricity went down in Cobham, Surrey, where many of them live.

That meant the imposing electric gates which greet visitors didn't work and the fire brigade had to be called to set them free.
