Chelsea star Victor Moses is in the money after helping Nigeria win the African Cup of Nations.

The Daily Express says Moses flew back to England last week after inspiring his native Nigeria to victory in the African Cup of Nations in South Africa - pocketing a bonus of around £250,000 for his efforts and a free plot of land in the country he was forced to flee from 11 years ago.

The winger Chelsea paid Wigan around £9million for is now a national hero in the country he has not been back to since his uncle rescued him after terrorists slaughtered his parents in their home in northern Nigeria in 2002.
