Juan Mata admits Wednesday night's clash with Real Madrid will be a 'special' occasion for him.
Chelsea take on the Spanish giants in the final of the Guinness International Champions Cup at Sun Life Stadium in Miami and the attacking midfielder is excited as he prepares to take on the club he kicked off his career with back in 2006.
"It will be very special for me to play against Real Madrid, a very important team to me in my career," he told the club's official website.
"I hope the fans will enjoy the game in Miami, which I think will be very exciting, and that we can lift the trophy in the final to make them happy."
