Belgium manager Marc Wilmots has slammed Eden Hazard for his performance against Cyprus on Sunday.

The Red Devils managed an unconvincing 1-0 victory over Cyprus in Nicosia and it was Hazard who proved to be the difference between the two sides, scoring an 86th-minute winner.

Despite his strike though, Wilmots was most certainly not pleased with the display of the Chelsea winger and has slammed his star man as the worst player on the pitch against Cyprus.

Following the game, Wilmots said: "He (Hazard) was the worst tonight.

"I thought about substituting him, but in the last 10 minutes he always has the ability to do that. At the World Cup, this was the case. I obviously expect more from him, but he will grow as the season progresses."
