England stars Ashley Cole and Luke Shaw have tweeted to detach themselves from claims that a top footballer will come out as being gay this weekend.
With the social networking site abuzz over the identity of the player, the two left backs posted messages which appeared to have the intention of denying they were gay.
Chelsea star Cole, who has previously taken legal action over unfounded claims regarding his sexuality, posted: "Come on people, sorry to disappoint u but I'm strictly #chicks only."
While Southampton youngster Shaw, simply tweeted: "It's not me, chill out guys."
