Chelsea, Spurs to pounce for want-away AZ starlet Adam Maher

AZ Alkmaar superkid Adam Maher is eyeing a move to England.

The Daily Star says Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham target Maher has confirmed he is still keen to quit current club AZ Alkmaar.

"If there is a nice club, I'm open to it. I still have the same ambitions as before," he told De Telegraaf.

"The future looks the same to me. I'll continue to the winter break here, then see what happens."

Last month, AZ's technical director Earnest Stewart claimed that Chelsea and Tottenham had both sent scouts to watch his players, with Maher thought to be a key target.

And Manchester City have also been heavily-linked with a move for the Holland international, who was voted Dutch Young Player of the Year last season.
