Chelsea, Spurs deterred as Man Utd want European suitor for Martial

Manchester United are determined to resist any bids from Chelsea or Tottenham for Anthony Martial.

The Daily Express believes that United are not even contemplating selling Martial to a Premier League rival.

They have put a £70 million price tag on the player and will only seriously listen to offers from clubs outside Europe.

United and manager Jose Mourinho want to keep Martial. But the player is determined to leave after a season where he was kept on the bench by Alexis Sanchez since January.

Borussia Dortmund are interested, but do not have the financial clout to make such a high bid. Bayern Munich are also interested, along with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.

If Martial does leave, Mourinho wants to sign a winger to replace him, such as Ivan Perisic or Gareth Bale.
