Chelsea have entered talks with the camp of Napoli star Edinson Cavani. The Sunday Sun says representatives of the 25-year-old Uruguayan were in London on Friday to discuss a proposed £30million transfer to Stamford Bridge, even though Chelsea are currently managerless after the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas.
Cavani's stock continues to rise as he took his tally to 26 goals this term with a double strike to book Napoli's place in the final of the Coppa Italia in midweek.
Napoli maintain it will take a king's ransom to secure him - but Italian sources still believe they will cash in this summer.
