Chelsea are preparing a £20 million offer for Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric.
The Daily Star says Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has targeted Croatian schemer Modric as the man he wants to add to his midfield.
Modric is expected to sign a new deal with Spurs, but is also in the sights of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
