Chelsea captain John Terry will not consider a big-money move to Manchester City.
The Sunday Times says a source close to the player scotched has claims he would be receptive to an approach by City. He sees his long-term future at Chelsea and any transfer would be possible only if the London club suddenly decide to sell. Terry has three and a half years remaining on his contract which, combined with his England status, would see him command a fee upwards of £30m.
City, as the world's richest club, could afford it - and offer him a significant increase on wages of £131,000 a week - but should a fresh bid come when the summer transfer window opens, it is believed Chelsea will again reject their advances.
