Chelsea skipper John Terry says improvement in the league this season is a priority.

Despite last season's epic Champions League win, Terry knows the Blues have to improve on their previous league campaign where they finished a massive 25 points behind Manchester City.

"The Premier League was disappointing really. I think we always talk about it, can you do both?

"We have seen Man United do it, but a long time ago. But it's a tough one because there are so many important games coming and once you are away from that third or fourth spot, it was a case of do you then concentrate on that or do you put all your eggs in one basket in the Champions League.

"Which we did in the end and it paid off. 'If you are second or third in the league you have still got a chance in the league, then you have to push and play your best teams. But it's very tough to do."
