Chelsea's England skipper John Terry has been impressed by Manchester United pair Phil Jones and Danny Welbeck.

And Terry believes Chelsea teammate Danny Sturridge can draw inspiration from their promotion.

He said, "Phil Jones has come in and done well - he looked like an established player who has been with us for years - and Danny Welbeck has also come through. Players like Daniel Sturridge will see that and be encouraged.

"Next summer won't be just about the players that went through qualification. There is a new generation coming through now who can make an impact."
